5 New Vegan Products Coming To Your Supermarket In 2023

Previously, it was uncommon to see vegan or plant-based items at supermarkets, especially if they resembled meat or dairy. Now, however, most customers would not bat an eye at a burger produced from peas, chicken-style nuggets created from soy, or milk made from oats.

The worldwide market for plant-based foods is seeing unprecedented growth. In 2020, it was valued at over $23 billion, and by 2028, it is expected to surpass $61 billion. This rise is being fueled not only by conscientious consumers but also by firms that continue to provide consumers fresh, inventive, and exciting plant-based goods.

This year has been significant for vegan eating, and next year will be even more exciting. Here are our vegan food forecasts for the year 2023.

This Isn’t Streaky Bacon

This's newest product mixes its plant-based fat formulation, 'Fat 2.0,' created from olive oil, with pea and soya protein to make a healthier bacon alternative. It has 17 calories per slice and is high in protein, low in fat, and an excellent source of fiber. In addition, it includes vitamin B12 and iron. It appears to be a formidable competitor to French vegan bacon brand La Vie, which debuted in UK supermarkets in September.

Nut Blend butter

Nut Blend is an additional premium brand of healthful nut butter. Four flavors were developed by Gabriella Block, a London-based entrepreneur who sought to make luxurious goods without relying on sugar. Each has no added sugars or sweeteners, palm oil, or salt. Unique nut butter from Nut Blend features only nuts and a sprinkling of natural spices. Cacao, Cashew & Almond Butter, Maca, Pecan & Almond Butter, Coconut, Macadamia & Almond Butter, and Cinnamon, Hazelnut & Almond Butter are included in the assortment.

Organic Thai Coconut Curry Hummus

We adore the plant-based dips and spreads by Hope Foods for their fresh ingredients and robust flavor profiles. They utilize cold, high-pressure processing without chemical preservatives to preserve fresh tastes and maximize nutrition and texture. This Thai Coconut Curry hummus is organic, creamy, and incredibly flavorful, making it ideal for dipping vegetables or spreading on your favorite pita.

Additional vegan items include hummus, guacamole, cashew, and almond dips. Avocado-Lime Hummus and Vanilla Bean Cashew & Almond Dip are among their most recent offerings.

Soul Fruit Dragon Fruit

In January 2022, the creative new snack brand Soul Fruit introduced nutritious vegan Dragon Fruit snacks. The newest superfruit, Dragon Fruit, contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and vitamins that improve the immune system. Soul Fruit snacks are vegan, gluten-free, and have no added sugar. Both chipped and soft-dried Dragon Fruit snacks are delightful and will prevent you from reaching for that unhealthy chocolate bar.
