You must know Marisol Nichols from her phenomenal role as Veronica's complicated mom, Hermoine Lodge. The 47-year-old has made quite a name for herself not just from the hit CW drama Riverdale but from many other popular movie and television roles. Only recently, she bagged a role alongside Chris Rock in the flick Spiral, too.

But, we're not talking about her vociferous acting career today, rather about her lifestyle. Many people don't know that Marisol is super into her meals! And here's her food philosophy: if it doesn't taste good, it's torture. We can all agree with that, can't we?
Before proceeding, be warned that Marisol's cooking ideas might make you want to rush to the kitchen or grocery store immediately. And some of them are actually genius (you'll see what we're talking about when you get to dessert).
Without further ago, let's look into Marisol's good eats!
Breakfast
Since Marisol practices intermittent fasting, her breakfasts aren't all that exciting. But, the first thing she consumes in the morning is a cup of coffee with vanilla Stevia. The sweetener is nothing less than her best friend, and she literally carries it everywhere. Everything tastes better with Stevia, she says. She's been using the product for 15 years now and always goes for the liquid since it has less aftertaste.
Lunch
Lunch comes later in the day, around 2 or 3 o'clock, when she's finally hungry. It consists of one protein and at least one vegetable. Though she keeps it simple, when she knows she's hungry, she needs something delicious and filling.
A grass-fed burger paired with grilled asparagus or zucchini is what an average lunch looks like for Marisol. And, her food is always sauteed or grilled in grass-fed butter or coconut oil for that extra burst of flavor. Veggies (at least one) are always a must for the actress.

Dinner
Picture a sizzling wagyu steak with zucchini, orange, and yellow peppers, some asparagus, shallots, fresh garlic, and tomato powder all cooked in ghee. Doesn't that sound mouthwatering? Dinner is all about protein and veggies for Marisol. If some chicken, fish, or steak isn't sizzling away in her pan, she opts for a giant salad. Olive oil is a must-have, too - but only the good kind. She also has one that tastes like truffles!
Dessert
The actress says that her days are incomplete without sweets. I feel depressed without them, she says. And she's absolutely right. Why deprive yourself? So, she keeps a fresh stash at the ready in her chocolate drawer, which has the best of the best candy from Sweden and Italy. Honestly, though, who wouldn't want to have a chocolate drawer at the ready?
