Most of us have been there–wanting to spend time with our friend group but don’t have any fun activities planned. At a certain point, having house parties or going to your favorite bar and getting tipsy can get boring. If you’re going through a similar phase with your friends, we’re here to save the day.
Here’s a list of fun activities you can try out with your friend group.
#1 - Throw a Themed Dinner Party
It might sound silly at first, getting your friends all dressed up and having a themed dinner party just for a dinner at home, but activities like these can definitely end up being much more entertaining than they sound. You can then have a dinner based on the theme. And that theme could be literally anything–from dressing up as your favorite artist to going through your partner’s closet for some inspiration.
#2 - Go Camping
The prospect of camping out at night, where all of you huddle around the bonfire, sing all of your favorite songs, roast marshmallows, and talk about your crazy experiences can be a hard one to turn down. Camping is a great way to spend quality time with your friends while also staying in touch with nature. It doesn’t have to be a special occasion, just a relaxing secluded night with your friends, to unwind from the week’s busy schedule.
#3 - Host a Bake Off
Though most baking competitions have more than one oven, you could still host a bake-off at home and have the same amount of excitement. Break into groups, pick out the dish each team has to create, set a time for the prep and then take turns baking. You could also add your own twists to this bake-off; for instance, cooking only with certain ingredients or baking around a theme can be pretty exciting too.
Summing it Up
At a certain point, going to bars and clubs can get repetitive. So instead, you can spend quality time with your friends at home by give the above-mentioned tips a try. This list is just a small portion of the fun activities you could do with your friends; there are several other activities that can go a long way in bringing you closer to your loved ones.
